The Silk of 1000 Spiders

Inspiring Audiences

In October 2017, we are producing a large-scale, ensemble, outdoor performance at Fort Luton in Chatham, Medway.

Spanning over 150 years of local history, ‘The Silk of 1000 Spiders’ is inspired by the true stories of the invisible labour force who have shaped our landscape and lives. From the sailors, convicts and workhouse inmates who helped build Fort Luton, to today’s migrant workers, ‘The Silk of 1000 Spiders’ explores and brings to light Medway’s untold stories and forgotten lives.

Workshop sessions and rehearsals run from June 2017, and we are currently recruiting actors, singers, performers, set & costume design/makers and backstage technicians.

If you’d like to be involved please get in touch or just turn up to one of the events listed below!
