Placements offer hands-on insight into the captivating areas of technical theatre, set and costume design, directing and arts administration. During your placement you’ll have access to industry professionals and see first-hand how Icon’s large-scale community theatre and touring shows are created.

Designed to cater to your unique interests, your placement will support you to explore career options, nurture your talents and help you achieve your goals.

How To Take Part

This opportunity is open to young people in Medway who are 16+ and have an interest in a career in the creative industries. We have two placements on offer this autumn.

What is Icon’s Incubator programme?

Icon’s Incubator programme provides work experience, careers advice and mentoring, backstage and technical training, and an Assistant Director Placement programme, nurturing the next generation of set, lighting and sound designers, directors, producers, administrators, technicians and backstage crew.
