During your placement you’ll have access to industry professionals and see first-hand how Icon’s large-scale community theatre and touring shows are created.

How To Take Part

This opportunity is open to students studying at school or college. We run this programme year-round and there is not a specific period for applications. The placements are unpaid (travel expenses are offered) and typically last a week. To take part or for further information, contact:

What is Icon’s Incubator programme?

Icon’s Incubator programme provides work experience, careers advice and mentoring, backstage and technical training, and an Assistant Director Placement programme, nurturing the next generation of set, lighting and sound designers, directors, producers, administrators, technicians and backstage crew.
