If you’re a young artist aged 11-18, this is the place for you.
Maybe you want to be a director? Maybe you like acting? Or maybe you want to gain skills in theatre producing, podcasting, or arts marketing? The Young Artist Collective will give you experience across the theatre industry.
Young Artist Collective (YAC) is a free youth-led group, created to strengthen the voices and practices of young people. Through regular meetups and workshops online and at the Brook Theatre in Chatham, the young people are encouraged to follow their passions, develop skills and reach their potential as artists and theatre makers.
As a young artist, you’ll have opportunities to take part in Icon Theatre’s professional productions on stage or behind the scenes, join masterclasses with industry professionals, and make your own creative projects. You will also play an important role here at Icon! You will have your say over our Theatre31 programme and tell us how we can best serve other young people across Medway and Sheppey.
