Age Recommendation

Suitable for all ages. Tickets must be purchased for those ages 2 +. Babes in arms are permitted, and an aisle seat will be allocated. Children under the age of 2 are permitted to sit on laps.

Access Information

Access seats: Wheelchair and Access Seats are available at £5 each and are bookable online. Should you require a Carer, these are free, and available with your Access ticket purchased. Carer seats do not come automatically with an Access Seat and need to be selected in addition, as part of your booking. 1 x free carer is permitted with every Access Seat purchased.

Admission: We understand that you may need an assistant to enjoy your visit. One personal assistant is permitted free entry if you are in receipt of Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment. If you need multiple personal assistants, prior arrangements must be made in advance and written evidence of this may be required.

Parking: There is disabled parking in the Helipad car park, within easy reach of the admission point, please display your Blue Badge clearly. If you are not a Blue Badge holder but require certain access needs, please contact us prior to your visit.

Site distance: The distance between the designated car park and the venue is approximately 200 metres. The route has a fairly even surface, but up-hill.

Wheelchairs: You are welcome to bring any type of mobility vehicle.

Assistance Dogs: Working guide and assistance animals are welcome at the dockyard.
We cannot guarantee access for therapy or emotional support pets; please email us ahead of your visit.

Location
The performance is in the Dockyard’s church building, located on the Historic Dockyard site.

Entering the Historic Dockyard by car
Chatham Dockyard has two entrances, Main Gate Entrance off Dock Road (ME4 4TZ) or the Main Visitor’s Entrance off Western Avenue (ME4 4TY)

Parking
Parking is permitted at the Helipad car park, located next to the Wagon Stop café. It is identifiable by the helicopter parked at the front. It is a short 5-minute walk to the Dockyard Church.

When entering the site, at the barrier, inform security you are seeing the Icon Youth Theatre Production – and entrance will be permitted.

Walking
The best entrance if walking, is the Main gate entrance, located off Dock Road (ME4 4TZ). The Dockyard Church is located 30m down Main Gate Road from Main Gate Entrance, on the right-hand side.

By train
Travelling by train to and from Chatham, direct connections are from: St Pancras International, Stratford International, London Victoria, London Blackfriars, West Hamstead Thameslink, Faversham, Sittingbourne, Dover Priory, Ramsgate.

The Historic Dockyard is a 20-minute walk from the train station or there is a taxi rank outside of the train station.

Doors Open

The venue will be open to ticket holders half an hour before the start of the performance, at 6:30pm.

Door Sales

Purchasing tickets on the door: There will not be a Box Office at the event and tickets must be purchased in advance. Should there be any un-sold tickets, these will be made available through a donation of £5 (or more) on the door.

Refreshments

No refreshements are available at the venue.
