For schools and teachers, this programme offers everything from Artsmark support to productions at your school.
We are always looking to give teachers and young people across Medway and Sheppey the chance to check out the activities we offer. It’s so important that young people can access arts and culture at school, which is why Theatre31 offers a wide range of opportunities designed to help teachers bring theatre into the classroom.
Since launching the Theatre31 Schools’ Programme, we’ve proudly empowered schools to integrate arts into their education culture – including a touring playground production of the Snow Queen in 2020, and funding teachers to train as Arts Award Advisors in 2021. Theatre31 also works in close partnership with the local Creative Schools Network, to ensure we understand what schools need from arts providers and how we can best serve this community.
It’s been proven time and again how arts activities develop a child’s confidence, creativity and social skills, and we love seeing educators and students enjoy the benefits that our programmes offer. From workshops to Artsmark support and professional development, there are plenty of opportunities for you to take part in our Theatre31 Schools’ Programme.
